CPPE and University of Manchester offer free on-line assessment and accreditation for pharmacist wishing to conduct MURs.

(you will need to use the latest edition of Internet Explorer with Java scripting enabled)
Skills for the Future Programme. This program is offered by Medway School of Pharmacy with educational grant from GlaxoSmithKline. This program is offered at a cost of £60 payable to Medway School of Pharmacy.

Medicines Use Review - From Prescription to Patient. This document produced by the National Pharmacy Association(NPA) with the sponsorship of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare is designed to fully prepare pharmacists to meet competencies required to provide advanced services. It costs £60 but you will have to find a higher education institution who will carry out the assessment.

(Please note that NPA in collaboration with the University of Reading will provide the necessary Accreditation-contact the NPA for more information )
Welsh CPPE in collaboration with Cardiff University offers Practice Certificate in Medicines Use Review and Prescription Intervention at the cost of £60.

The following providers aim to help pharmacists with a different learning style get accredited. This is achieved through a combination of workshops and mentoring.

Informacist promises to make 'MUR Accreditation easy'. This program is based around the Skill for the future Medway program. Seminars are run regularly depending on demand. 'By the end of the day, you will be able to pass the accreditation, feel confident about running a successful MUR, know how to complete a care plan and save the NHS money.' The normal price for this course is £175 + VAT.

Chemist and Druggist Magazine runs articles, tips and comments by pharmacists and experts in different therapeutic areas which can aid the delivery of effective MURs.
