Becoming an MUR Evangelist is a free and simple process.

The following are the steps needed to become an MUR Evangelist.

1. Register on MUROnline. If you have not registered please click here. Otherwise go to item 2


2. Click on the 'Become an MUR Evangelist Button'.


3. Read and Agree the 4-point MUR Evangelist Pledge.


4. Complete the Application Form
   [Have your RPSGB registration number and your mobile phone number to hand]


5. You will receive an e-mail automatically with your 'EV' code.


6. We will later send you an e-mail when your application is verified - *At this point you can give potential employers your 'EV' code and this URL: http://www.murevangelist.co.uk

Verification Process:

To verify your application, we will run the following checks:

• We will verify your RPSGB registration using the official Society's website: http://www.rpsgblist.org/membership.asp
• We will send a 4-digit verification code to your mobile number.
• We will later call you within 48 hours to check your details and you will be asked at this point to confirm the verification code. Please note that the conversation may be recorded for security purposes.

• By becoming an MUR Evangelist you are asserting to employers that you are engaged in the MUR delivery and that you are always looking for opportunities to engage your customers or patients in order that they may gain the best use from their medication.


• You will automatically be enlisted onto the 'Find a Pharmacist' facility on this website. This program put the employer in touch with the MUR pharmacist.


• You become a part of a pro-active pharmacist community on MUROnline. You can post articles or queries about any subjects relating to MUR for the consumption of the community or the wider world wide web. You may post articles with your name or anonymously - the choice is yours **.

The following are the steps needed to check a pharmacist:

1. Go to http://www.murevangelist.co.uk or Click the 'Validate MUR Evangelist' button.


2. Enter the 'EV' code provided by the pharmacist you are trying to check.


3. If the pharmacist is a registered MUR Evangelist, his/her Name, the RPSGB registration number and date of MUR Evangelist registration will be displayed. You may even find comments by previous employer about the Evangelist and any other professional information which the MUR Evangelist wish to display.
